No-ah rumors, please! We want the facts!

Hairdorables is a young, new line of toys and as such, is liable to have active new releases, items, characters, and/or new details for some time. The internet is full of rumors, leaks, and hearsay, often, especially when people obtain items early or off online auctions from secondhand sources.

However, the Absolute Hairdorables Wiki has made it our policy to not allow any information on any topic from any non-legitimate sources. The only information we accept are from sources that can be verified. Verified sources include:

  • Just Play itself, through its own outlets (e.g. a Hairdorables video vlog on the official Channel offers more detail to a character's personality; information for new lines is released through New York Toy Fair)
  • Confirmed sales locations, such as images that can be verified as sold through stores (e.g a new line is found for sale at Target's website or on the shelves)
  • Reliable toy vloggers/bloggers who view or receive advance product to reveal, and whom reveal things properly and cleanly (e.g. MyFroggyStuff, a well-known and trustworthy toy vlogger, gets advance promotional product of Series Two and puts up a quick unboxing video with clear product shots)
  • News outlets who have received press releases or early product

We don't allow rumors, leaks, hearsay, or other third-party unverified sources. Some examples of third party, unverifiable sources:

  • A person purchases a prototype factory second doll from China and posts images of the nude doll online.
  • A small video vlogger puts up a speculation video that only contains a few unreleased, blurry images of unverified product.
  • Screenshots from a reliable toy reviewer's images. While the source is verifiable, these are not official, and furthermore this is theft and copyright violation of the reviewer.
  • Images appear of stock images through searches across the internet if Just Play has not released images yet. Until Just Play themselves release the images, they are not verified.
  • A person claims to have an "inside" leak from their friend who works at WalMart and read upcoming UPC codes.
  • A search for registered trademarks online, which may reveal early names or trademarks applied to through Just Play. While there is a possibility of being legitimate, many companies make trademarks on items that may go nowhere, and Just Play sells more than Hairdorables.

So, for example, if a new line of pets has leaked via images of the back of a package on a fan-run account? That's not legitimate. Neither is swiping someones Toy Fair shots to use as "official" images. If Just Play does a reveal, however, on Instagram stories? That counts.

We as a wiki won't put up anything about anything--not even a starter article--until we have something more official than casual hearsay. This is not only to protect us as a fan site, but to protect you from unfounded rumor and misinformation. Just be patient. Better to wait and be right than jump and have to retract. Don't care about being first. Care about being right.

If you post unverified leaks or bad pictures of unreleased items, we'll ban you for at least a month. That should give us enough time to get real, verified news and you to learn your lesson.
